| | | Willow warbler? After the late snow earlier in the week yesterday in NW Scotland was a wonderfully sunny day and sitting in the garden I heard a willow warbler.
I do not know may bird songs but I can recognise a willow warbler, but I would have thought it is a bit early for willow warblers to have made as far north as Gairloch.
Has anyone else seen or heard willow warblers or is there be another bird that sounds the same?
Dave

| | | Re: Willow warbler? Not heard one yet, but in prev years have heard them often when doing an early BBS square in late march, so quite possible.
The sun will stimulate them to call.
Cheers
Ken
