What nice, well-timed photographs. Their clashes look painful - was it with claws, or just kicks and flapping? A territorial dispute I suppose...

Wow, that was a good sequence of shots! I'm with Jason, I think it was a territorial dispute as well.

Like Jason and Tracey A. I think it was a territorial as the first bird turned away when the second bird had moved out its territory.

I don't think Shoveler are actually territorial as such, but i suspect a girl may have been the reason! | | |
