| | | Male Chaffinch unable to fly We have a Male Chaffinch with a damaged wing and he is unable to fly. At the moment he is in an inaccessible place. Is it wise to leave him alone (food put down for him and water) or should we try catching him and finding a vet? or would he have heart attack if we tried? Don't want to cause him any more problems than he already has.
Thanks for any advice.

| | | Re: Male Chaffinch unable to fly Pippa, thank you for your swift response. Thought leaving well alone was best...we have supplied him with sunflower hearts (minus the shells) and he has access to a low bowl of water so just keep my fingers crossed he survives. Having said that, we are in the middle or a hailstorm eeeek. |
