I have a bird drinking bowl/bath in my garden and some of the birds take a drink then turn round and do their business in it!
Talk about selfish! 
I have to change it repeatedly during the day,,Im sure they do it deliberately! |

Birds don't have a sense of manners or selfishness, they just do what comes naturally. So it's wasted energy to be angry at them. |

A sparrowhawk ate its' prey on the edge of my birdbath and left blood in the water!!  |

wood pigeons are the main culprits in my bird bath, no manners at all I wonder if I could train them to flush..?

Actually, I find some of my starlings to be surprisingly patient. They'll wait their turn and let the others finish their bath. You always get the odd bully though. Once the water level has gone down, the starlings give up and the House Sparrows get their chance. | | | |
