Early Morning Chorus

It's 5.38am (put my clocks forward last night) and the local birds have been singing now for well over an hour. If the clocks hadn't gone forward , that would mean the morning chorus started around 3am .
It's mainly the Blackbirds at the moment but others have started to join in.
I've even put some food out for them so they can eat before the Jackdaws start to arrive for breakfast .

Our blackbirds are always the ones to kick off the chorus.

much to my surprise the local Blackbird gave an alarm call at around 11.30 last night. He was up again at first light in full song

Not exactly a morning chorus,- mine is ussually blackbirds and thrushes,- but today my chiff chaffs arrived! Little boy was sitting singing on his usual branch and there was another one singing across the garden, probably his son from last year.
