Brief Encounter with Red Kites

I spent 3/4 of an hour or so on the edge of some woodland on the side of White Mark Hill in the Chilterns yesterday. I was in heaven! I took about 200 photos with both the beercan and mirror reflex lenses on the Sony.

Red Kites are fantastic to watch, I`m looking forward to a trip to Gigrin next month

Thanks, its had a little bit of processing but not much. The combination of lens, light and processing has left a slightly surreal quality to the image. They are a great bird to photograph.
