Last night I was looking through a shoebox which contained lots of old photos and came across this one.
It was taken in the early 80's at Harty on Sheppey.
For those that know the area, it was sitting on a dead oak tree at the top of the pear platt just before you get to Harty church.
Not something you see every day.  |

Hallo Snake,
Great photograph. Very atmospheric.
To me it looks very much like a Crested Crane. However, I thought they came from Africa not from Sheppey.
