Long Tailed Tits

I've got a pair of long tailed tits working their tails off building a nest in my garden hedge .. what a great time of the year this is

i have seen many long tailed tits in the trees, round about, through binoculars. Today i have spotted one on the feeders that hang from the garage.

The bird was not feeding though, I suspect it was looking for nesting material, ie cobwebs near the garage roof under the guttering.

Nice to see one close up for a change though

They are always darting to and from willow tree to seed hopper.Never any rest...I like to see them in a group. But at the moment it's just two regulars..
