meresands wood sunday!
Hello all.

Just wondered if anyone went to meresands wood near martin mere today?

I went for first time,spent around 3 hours in the rufford hide trying to get kingfishers but non shown.

then moved to redwings hide,nice hide like the secluded corner,2 nice post for the kingfisher,looked a hot spot but again no show.

anyone seen any there this year since the big freeze?

And just wondered if any of you were in the rufford hide today between 10am and 2pm..
