It may not sound much to you experienced bird watchers but they were a first for me and spotted in the garden yesterday, that last place I'd expect to see them (we don't get much variety in the garden).

Fab cd, beautiful bird and a good find anywhere - all birds should be appreciated, good for you in sharing some excitement!

Great sighting cleverdogs. Don't get much in my garden either and never had a Reed Bunting in it. Well spotted.

We had a male and female in our garden a couple of weeks ago.

I was so excited i actually posted on here !!!!

Since then i have seen loads in the garden, i suppose that now i know what they look like i am able to identify them properly instead of thinking they were funny marked sparrows!!.
