| | | Buzzard spotting Hi i have spotted a buzzard over Finglesham today circling overhead, wonderful. last time i saw one was in Cornwall on holiday, didn't know we had them here!

| | | Re: Buzzard spotting Hi horses, they are quite common at my local reserve, that said I still get a thrill when I see them  If they are unusual in your neck of the woods then you have had a special moment  They love sitting on fence posts looking out for some tasty morsel, or they just soar above looking very majestic

| | | Re: Buzzard spotting They are the commonest raptor in the UK + in recent years have been spreading eastwards. Probably not as common in Kent as other areas, but even here they are becoming more widespread. Always a good bird to see. |

| | Re: Buzzard spotting A person I know who goes to big SHOOTS..  ..told me that at one shoot he went to there were flocks of dozens and dozens of Buzzards overhead, I suppose the existance of hundreds of gamebirds in the area attracted them. No, they didn't shoot Buzzards, but they were a hinderence to start with..(GOOD!) but I presume they made a quick getaway when the 'banging' started.  |

| | | Re: Buzzard spotting We have quite a few around where we live. Last summer there ws a family of them. Often see them sitting on fence posts.
