Here's a few of them:
This bird has been seen at Rufford Park for four years now. |

| | | Re: White Blackbird Certainly from the colour of the eyes I would agree that it is a leucistic Blackbird. If it was truly albino not only would the eyes be pink the beak would also be very pale if not white. In this case the beak is the typical yellow of a blackbird.
Last year I had a couple of leucistic Blackbirds that were black with a great deal of white which made them look like a cross between a Pied Wagtail and a Magpie. The giveaway was the size and the yellow beak.
Harold.
Ps: What sex do you think it is? I would say male as the two I saw definitely had the partial black colour of the male and from what I understand it is the males who are mainly leucistic. Now why is that? |

| | | Re: White Blackbird Tend to agree Dogghound, not sure about the eyes but really don't think the beak is at all yellow.

| | | Re: White Blackbird Sorry gentlemen I disagree. I have zoomed in upto 1000 times and the eyes are black and the beak is definitely all yellow, therefore I am pretty certain it is a male Leucistic Blackbird.
