| | | Re: I want a Tree creeper Funnily enough I got lucky yesterday with a treecreeper at RSPB Arne. You've just got to be in the right place at the right time I think. I did find them difficult to photograph as they never stay still for a second.
I'd familiarise yourself with the call which is quite a high pitched, short, sibiliant call and should be fairly unmistakeable. Good time of year to be seeking one out though as there's still a lot of light coming into the woodland.

| | | Re: I want a Tree creeper The prime requisite for attracting treecreepers is ---a tree
Sorry but i just couldn't let that one go.
By the river behind my home is a small area running along the banks which contains mainly oak and holly, with a few very large firs in a garden adjoining the opposite bank, very rarely can i walk along the banks and not see at least one.
