| | | ID anyone? Sorry about very poor pics but only had couple of secs to take them. Plus I could barely get a good view let alone good pic  Just wondering if any one can id this lil bird, only saw one like it while there so maybe sumthing special? |

| | | Re: ID anyone? Agree it could be a Chaffinch and probably is but not sure I could rule out an overexposed (or slightly leucistic) Brambling on this image. Tail seems rather short and deeply forked, bill seems a bit orangey/pink all better for Brambling than Chaffinch. Pic one seems to show a dark loral stripe and contrasty facial pattern despite being very 'washed out'. |
