| | | 'out of place' ducks i just thought i'd share a couple of photos i got today of some rather out of place ducks at attenborough nature reserve in notts.
the ruddy shelduck has been resident there for a few months now, just hangs around getting fed near the visitors centre. the white cheeked pintail is new to me, hadn't heard of its arrival and don't know how it got there, it looked kind of confused stood amongst some mallards!

| | | Re: 'out of place' ducks I remember many years ago there was a fully winged White-cheeked (Bahama) Pintail on the Thames + local parks in the area + it usually consorted with a Mallard (guess it wasn't likely to find one of its own species!). It was around for a few years. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
