| | | Bird identification........ I took this photo at Berry Head, Torbay on 20/02/10. At first I thought Greenfinch, then when I enhanced the photo and saw the eye stripe I thought Siskin or Cirl Bunting. Help please.

Interesting link although I'm sure most UK and European birds can be identified on WAB with little difficulty. We have lots of members on WAB who are very experienced in fauna and flora ID. (although we don't offer free packets of bird seed in the process!)
(Agree, it's a Cirl Bunting - good to see after the harsh weather in Cornwall and Devon earlier in the year!) |
