Wader Queries?

I winder if you could help me with some queries from my trip to Farlington Marshes yesterday where there were some Brent Geese but with them was a white with grey markings bird the same shape can you tell me what sort bird it is?





Also today on the Hamble river this bird is it a black tailed Godwit or a Bar tailed Godwit maybe?

The goose a hybrid Greylag or possibly just an odd looking domestic bird.
The other geese are canada geese not brent.


The wader is a Black-tailed Godwit.

the 'white' goose looks like a domestic Greylag.

yes Canada geese (much larger than a brent and the brent doesn't have the white cheek patch and is generally much darker than the Canada goose), with a domestic goose with greylag ancestry.

And a black tailed godwit - the bar-tailed godwit has plumage that appears much more streaky in comparison to the black-tailed.
