I didnt realise what I had taken a picture of as I was just trying to focus my lens on "a bird"  (Poor picture - Very over exposed)

| | | Re: ID please (another) - Im quite excited about this one The beak looks a bit too dainty for brambling, more nearer a goldfinch beak, but what appear to be darkish legs and little breast colouration point me towards female chaffinch.

I have cropped the picture and tried to take the over exposure off - here is how it came out
The chest feathers appear white to me

Note the pointed upper mandible, dark legs and pale collar amongst other things.
The colour of the breast is just burnt out by over exposure. |
