It's one bird I rarely see when I have camera in hand, so well done you!

| | | Re: Nuthatch Wanted to see one for years and went all over to find one only to be told by a neighbour there are loads in the park a mile from our house!(It does mean passing the pub to get to the park which may explain why we don't get there very often
Nice pic by the way. |

| | | Re: Nuthatch Good photo of a Nuthatch! They are splendid birds + being pretty vocal, not too difficult to locate. |

| | | Re: Nuthatch They breed around here, I think they are in the oak tree in my front garden but I can't be absolutely sure, so there are always plenty of them about. Last summer one of the fledglings took a sharp right turn and flew into the wall of our house and knocked itself out for a while. It gave a good opportunity for me to have a close look at it.
They are definitely one of my favourite little birds and that's a very nice photo, Lockzie. |

| | | Re: Nuthatch good shot, i hung around for ages the other day trying to get a shot of a nuthatch and just couldn't get him, he kept rushing around and disappearing from view, quite hard with only 200mm as well. good work, and a lovely bird too!

| | | Re: Nuthatch Lovely shot. They're quite noisy at this time of year and with no leaves yet shouldnt be too difficult to locate if they're around. Execellent photo! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
