Dead House Sparrows

I woke up yesterday to find a dead HS in my garden. Could be many reasons for its death I thought until I've just found another one. Could this be Trichomonas? I'm so worried and really don't know what to do. We've had the odd Greenfinch visiting which are eating but don't look their usual selves although I haven't see on for over a week now. Please, please I need some advice.

It's getting late for Trich now, most of the cases being reported seem to be of salmonella though their are many other diseases that affect our garden birds.

The best thing to do, next time you find a freshly dead bird, is to send it off for testing - I think there are details of who to send it to (and how to pack it) linked from the BTO/Garden bird site - if you can't find the details, PM me and I'll go dig it out and post it up.
