Good photo, yeah i think they are too, characters that is, like something from the prehistoric era esp when there flying, people who have ponds probly wouldnt agree though,i say that with tongue in cheek as they do seem quite easy to deter,
I allways enjoy taking photos of em here on our river too |

Lovely photo there WelshGold  , haven't got close enough for a decent picture of a Heron, they are always on the other side of the river
