| | | Starlings over Poole We went down to Poole earlier this evening to watch the starlings swirling around the sky before roosting for the evening. We were wondering just how many of these events occur every evening across the country and if all starlings partake in this activity?
It was a terrific spectacle to watch. |

| | | Re: Starlings over Poole Good photo! Large flocks of starlings swirling around before roosting are an amazing sight, aren't they.
Sorry, not knowledgeable enough to be able to answer your questions, but I know there are some well-known places for seeing these spectacular aerobatic displays. |

| | | Re: Starlings over Poole Most South coast seaside towns seem to have a resident flock of starlings, Brighton and Portsmouth are two that immediately spring to mind. There are also some impressive inland sites with large reedbeds, Otmoor for example. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
