Big garden bird watch again.......

I always look forward to doing the big garden bird watch every January, but you can guarantee that for the 1 hour that I choose to do it all the birds disappear!! normally we have gold, green, chaff finches, great and blue tits, blackbirds, etc etc, but when it comes to reporting my results they are not really a reflection of the normal activity of my garden!! Does this happen to anyone else?

I didn't see yours either before I posted a reminder on the other thread, but probably not worth carrying on two separate threads tbh, the bird forum gets awfully cluttered at times!!

But the answer to your question would be an emphatic 'Yes'
