| | | Help with bird identity Just had a bird in my garden it was charcoal, white on his back and red on its tail,been looking at the bird Gallery and cant find it and its really bugging me and i have never seen this bird before i am excited cause only have a small urban garden,thankyou anyone that can help. |

| | | Re: Help with bird identity Interesting... Did it have a long tail in which case a Pied wagtail or long tailed tit may be a possibility but as for the red on its tail 
Other possibility is an escaped exotic of some sort.

What size was this bird? and was the tail completly red, red at the top/bottom or was it a strip, or did you just see a flash of red giving the impression of the red being on the tail? Also was this bird feeding on the ground or hanging from a feeder etc..etc...
Sorry for the questions but need a little more info.

| | | Re: Help with bird identity The red on his tail was at the bottom of his tail my brother saw it to and he is good at bird id's but we cant find out what this one is,it just flew in for a matter of minutes took some crumbs off the ground and went,hope it comes back. |
