| | | Duck ID? Hi there,
After a visit to my local country park, I saw this duck which I am keen to identify. Any duck experts out there? |

| | | Re: Duck ID? Evening Siskin,
I'm not too sure about this, but the head/bill suggests a Pintail to me. Maybe an exotic bird from a collection that's escaped?
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: Duck ID? A strange looking duck indeed! It doesn't appear to be a pure species- the head + bill look right for a male Cape Shelduck, but the rest of the body isn't right; I don't think it's an aberrant, so presume it's hybidised with another species. |
