Common Gull

Hello

Please confirm ID of this Gull,. I think it is a common gull. Due to

1)Bill colour - yellow with black towards end
2)Legs Colour - greenish
3)Head markings mottled/dusky marks on face/head/neck
4)Size - larger than the surrounding BH Gulls

Any other pointers to ID welcome

i've never really been interested in gulls, but of late i've started to enjoy watching and identifying them, they're so tricky sometimes, but the little difference make it an enjoyable challenge!

Yes but Umbreko (i think that is how you spell it) shut down a bit back. Below is a link to some pics from Tommy Flocktons and the canal during the snow
