| | | Black Swan Hello
Does anybody know anything about black swans? We had one admitted today with a minor injury. This doesn't concern me but I will have to find it a new home when it is ready. Does anybody know of any private collections? I believe there is a wild flock in Dawlish?
Extremely aggressive bird by the way. Makes our mutes look like pussy cats!!! |

| | | Re: Black Swan any WWT reserves nearby may be happy to have them, there's a town park nearby with a pair, they're very tame compared to any other swans i've seen, though i guess this is due to the amount of food they get from visitors |

| | | Re: Black Swan Yes they are far more aggressive than our Mute Swans. Just remeber that they cannot be released / re-released into the wild being non-native. Against the law. A collection, such as the WWT, would be the best place to take it. Whereabouts are you, so people can suggest where to take it.
Cheers,
