| | Help with ID please Hi folks
I think that this little visitor to my garden is a male Firecrest and would like confirmation on it the pics are not very good they were taken in drizzle and very quickly taken too,

| | | Re: Help with ID please Definitely firecrest. Stripe through the eye is diagnostic. Not sure about sex - it looks more like a female to me but I'd have to ruffle its crown to be sure. |

Thank you to all for your help
Where I live in the south east is where a lot of migrants come through and its a possibility that this is what it was doing and is the first one since a goldcrest last year, I have had 3 redwings come in for 4 consecutive days while the cold snap was on a couple of weeks back and at my local patch around 100 redwings and a flock of feildfares so iv'e been having a great time down here, Oh yes!, and there is a Great White Egret in the Worth marshes near Sandwich bay
