| | | Unidentified bird call Hi everyone,
Can anyone shed any light onto the identity of the bird making this call: Bird call
I managed to capture the call on my mobile phone, but I couldn't get a photo as it was high up in the trees, but as it flew away it looked about the same size as a Sparrowhawk, with a possible light coloured chest.
Hope someone can help.
Many thanks,
Kelly |

Try Kestrel - have a listen at the RSPB website, they have bird calls there.
Cheers
Ken

Sounds like typical Sparrowhawk alarm calls to me (listen to the second recording here); xeno-canto/Europe :: bird sounds from Europe :: sparrowhawk
