Pole Clamp

Hi,
As I am still very new to Bird photography.
I have seen on a web site and in magazines that instead of taking photos of birds with the feeders in the shot.
Clamp to the feeder pole a branch etc. so the bird lands on the branch and then onto the feeder. makes a more natural picture.

My question is, what sort of clamp and where can I purchase one from.
Looked in my local DIY store, nothing in stock.

Can anybody help me please.

You could find a dead branch about 6ft long and stick it in the ground near the feeders.

Neatly cut the thick end of the branch with a saw. Screw a wooden block into the branch at right angles to form a t-shape (using at least two screws). Use heavy duty "plastic ties" to secure the block to the pole.
