| | | Re: song thrush on the nest ! Evening Rossy,
To reason it, the lights must keep the nest-site warm. However, it would have needed warmth to make it think of nesting in the first place, which of course isn't there with all our snow around. So, as Dave said - it must have returned there to roost.
Is there an online article of this, or photographs online? Thanks for posting!
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: song thrush on the nest ! I vaguely remember seeing a photo on the BBC News website, I think it was about the week before Christmas but may have been later and I think it was supposed to be now, somewhere in the north of England, but again I'm not sure exactly where. Anyway, I've tried searching the site and come up with nothing: I do recall wondering at the time if it was perhaps an old (Spring) photo dragged out because it was quiet news-wise?!
I did find this from April 200 8 Home tweet home - Yorkshire Evening Post
And this from April 2009: Green light for nesting - Yorkshire Post
