| | | Talking to the birds We have quite a number of tawny owls out by us,over the years i have learnt to imitate thier call,to the extent of the owls flying over to where i am and having a real good conversation with me! any one else have this knack?
i also love sqeaking up the foxes,on many occasions i have had them yards from me before they see me then scarper off. |

| | | Re: Talking to the birds Use to call to owls and have them respond, when I was younger, perhaps still could if there was any tawnies about locally  Squeeked many a fox in.

Closest we came was my wife calling in a cuckoo last spring, she still can't believe it worked.
By the way - how do you squeak for the foxes? just using mouth as opposed to something like polystyrene on glass etc?
