Is this a breed of goose or a hybrid?



This photo was taken in Australia in 1996. Is this a mute swan x black swan?

1 is a domestic Chinese Goose

2 I think is a Black Swan that has no melanin pigmentation in its feathers

As aeshna5 says the first photo is of a Chinese Goose which is the domesticated form of the Swan Goose Anser cygnoides which is a now rare species migrating from its breeding range in Mongolia, Northern China and South-eastern Russia to its wintering grounds Central and Eastern China.

The second photo does indeed look like a Black Swan Cygnus atratus that’s had a server fright or more likely is an albino.
