Blackbirds are always first on the scene here , usually the females first and the males sitting on the fence watching. One female always sits on the clothes pole nearest my door, she watches the door and sits quietly "choop choop chooping"

After the blackbirds, it's usually the song thrush followed by sparrows then starlings and jackdaws.
I had a house sparrow sitting on the roof of my shed, which is very close to the door, who was watching the door and chirping.
It's snowing again here right now so I'll have to put more food out later. The birds are rummaging around in the snow looking for the buried food I put out earlier.
