Did you try putting them in the
Gallery or
Image Archive? The
Gallery is for fully-named images, in the format: 'Common Name - Scientific name', such as 'European Robin - Erithacus rubecula'. If it was unidentified and submitted to the
Gallery it'll be rejected until you know what it is and name it in that format
If you put it in the
Image Archive, which is where unidentified species go... What size were your photos? The system often says they've been accepted, but if they were too big they won't have been. Try to keep them around 100Kb and 1600x1200 or less. I go for 800x600 and 80% quality.
