| | Help with gulls ID ( again ) please
Took these pics today at a local ( frozen ) lake. Sorry about the quality, but it's on near max zoom with the bigma on 100th sec, max aperture and hand held.
I think I see greater black backed gulls and herring gulls. Then I thought I could see a lesser black backed gull and maybe some juveniles. Then I got really confused so I thought I'd ask the experts.
Any help please.
Regards,
Bob P. |

| | | Re: Help with gulls ID ( again ) please The black larger ones seem to be Greater Black-Backed Gulls with a few Juveniles and a Common Gull to the right of the picture. And there might be a Herring Gull in the centre

| | | Re: Help with gulls ID ( again ) please Thanks for all your inputs. So, is it right that the black backs with the pink legs are GBBG's, with the yellow legs are LBBG's and the pale grey backs are herring gulls???? What are the juveniles??
