| | | Buzzard? Managed to get a quick pic today on woods walk. I'm pretty sure it's a Buzzard but would appreciate confirmation please. Can't tell from my books & have only seen one once before.
Made my day seeing it anyway!
Thanks in advance

| | | Re: Buzzard? certainly is! there seems to be a lot of buzzard activity at the moment, there's a good population at one of my local spots where its possible to see them almost every visit, i feel quite priveliged, especially seeing one attack a woodpigeon on NYE. |

| | | Re: Buzzard? yeah! it didnt get it though, though there were a lot of feathers left behind, was only about 15ft away. couldnt see the pigeon afterwards but i'm guessing it wouldn't have survived, the buzzard was massive! |

| | | Re: Buzzard? We now see a lot of buzzard in Dorset. Probably our most common bird of prey. Had 10 circling in the sky in the Spring above my garden - all calling.
Although we see them all the time, you can never get very near to them. So I was very surprised to see one practically in Poole town yesterday, sitting on a lamppost near to ASDA next to the busy dual-carriageway.
Managed a couple of pictures. Jane | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
