| | | Re: Fieldfares Hi,
and a happy new year to you too.
Complete oppisite for me. Seen loads of fieldfares, (flocks of 100+ at times) but only seen redwings in small numbers.

| | | Re: Fieldfares Redwing + Fieldfare are pretty nomadic in the winter which means some people may not see many, whereas they maybe plentiful elsewhere.
Since the first spell of hard weather I've seen more Fieldfare than normal.
Good numbers of these thrushes were observed in the autumn arriving in the UK. |

| | | Re: Fieldfares Flocks of 100+?! Good Lord! I've had one lone fieldfare visiting my garden for the past three years. I was quite impressed with just the one! But this year that number is down somewhat.
I've certainly got a visiting redwing though, as I did last year.
Pics from last year... |

| | | Re: Fieldfares Im having alot more redwing at the moment, had good numbers of both on migration a few months back 1000+ birds passing over in a day or so. Now most of the fieldfare have continued inland about 15 miles from me, there are afew fields there with great numbers, with the redwing are present in smaller groups and singles here on the coast. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
