| | | birds in Berkhampstead Hello all! Hope you've all had a good Christmas, and nearly getting back to normal!
Last Tuesday Hubby saw 'about 40' of the same kind of bird in a car park hedge just outside Berkhampstead, larger than a blackbird ( also present, for handy comparison! ) very busy eating berries. They had pale breast and a white/cream edge to the folded wings. Any ideas please? I think Mistle Thrush, but he doesn't think they were so speckled as in the pictures. |

| | | Re: birds in Berkhampstead Thank you for your prompt replies!
It was a very vague description I know - but it's tricky with no camera/binoculars/ notebook and a car tooting at you to move up!! He just knew it was a bird he didn't recognise, and there were so many of them together.
At home we have had several pretty redwings busy stripping our holly of berries. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
