| | | Is it OK to feed banana's to the birds?
This might seem like a stange question but if there is one thing which is always left in the fruit bowl going gradually brown and ending up in the compost bin it's banana's, so I was wondering if it is OK to put it our for the birds? |

They make great cake though, brown bananas especially with a few walnuts!  |

I was only thinking the same thing the other day, I've never seen bananas mentioned in any of my books. So good to know, always have bruised nana's, I'll add some to next cake mix. Thanks for posting question ohgreatstew.

i always had a few bananas to throw out as i wont eat them when they go brown, until i read somwhere that if you wrap them in tinfoil and refrigerate them they last at least all week, it works so i never have any to throw out now..
