Hi everyone,

Which lowland heathland species of plant will the woodlark eat the seeds of.

Hi Rowan,

During the breeding season Woodlarks feed primarily on insects and spiders. Once the breeding season is over most birds that breed in heathland areas remove to farmland type habitats where their diet consist mainly of seeds (and spilt corn where available in stubble fields).
