| | | Pidgeons in coventry- health-illness- and death Was walking around town today and noticed how many of Coventry birds are limping, i look up on a building where some birds are huddled and notice the spikes the councils put there to discourage birds from landing/excreting there, i carry on and notice a dead bird trapped in some netting on a building (building owned by the council) it looked a very very harsh death tangled and strangled head facing the ground you can see the struggle on its face. again i carry on as theres nothing i can do and meet the girlfriend from work and we go for lunch, on my way back i notice some scarggy ill looking birds mixed in with some healthy looking ones...
I just wanted to vent this and see if its even legal to put these spikes/nets up? especially when its clearly causing suffering, a large majority of the birds feet are xexexexexexe, excuse the language...hanging off is a better choice and most birds when seen up close are missing feet, yet there are birds that are the picture of health- lively clear eyed and there feathers are clean and well kept,
Oh p.s in the middle of town i noticed one bird that was just sitting there looking scraggy lieing down in the middle of the town people walking around him.
whats going on?? |
