| | | cooperative (sort of) goldcrest Last Month I was walking around Hanningfield reserve and after an hour or so I was about to give up on seeing anything but a few toadstools when this little chap fluttered into the hedge in front of me.
It was moving around this hedgerow feeding but the bird was feeding on the shady side of the hedge and between me and the sun so the photos aren't perfect but still far better than the gold and brown smudges Ive got before! |

I hope one does it again but in the sunshine for me! Quote:

| | | Re: cooperative (sort of) goldfinch I'm jealous because they are one of my favorite birds and I've only seen them twice in my life. The last time was a large flock twittering about in a hedge in Swansea 2 years ago. |

This was easily my best view of one |

P.s. I've corrected the thread title | Thanks dave.
And thanks for the title change: I was going to ask to have it changed but after I duplicated the thread and asked for one to be deleted, I didnt want to ask for anything else! Add to that copying a image link rather than the thumbnail and this thread creation was hardly problem free! lol | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
