| | | Fieldfares I have been seeing the odd group of Fieldfares feeding on the Hawthorn berries for the last couple of weeks.
This morning there was a large flock of about three hundred birds feeding on a hedgerow.
On my patch there are not so many berries on the trees as last year so I think they will clear them up very quickly.
I hope its just this area where there is a shortage of berries and not a national thing, otherwise with the speed that they can clear them up they will soon be gone.
I guess there are other things that they can feed on. |

| | | Re: Fieldfares Beautiful shot as always, Snake I just said on another thread that I haven't spotted any Fieldfares (or Redwings) yet this Autumn. Shouldn't be too long now!

| | | Re: Fieldfares Lovely shot, Snake.
Hope to get a similar opportunity here - can't promise the quality, though!
