On the 21st 60 Waxwings flew south west over Hunstanton cliffs, which according to Trektellen a visible migration site it is 1 off the European record!!!

Lots of reports of singles and low number groups all the way along the norfolk coast with two or three larger flocks as have been mentioned.
Also a few records with birds starting to move inland at Holt and Norwich just to mention a couple.
Better start watching the supermarket car parks!

What sort of habitat are they attracted to? I'm thinking trees & hedgrows with lots of berries, would this be a good guess?
