The rook! Quite comical and ungainly walking, but so graceful and acrobatic in flight. And he has such a repertoire of funny squeals and squawks. |

I couldnt answer honestly...spotting a lesser spotted woodpecker is special, and so is stumbling across a shrike somewhere, kingfishers would be up there as would be any diver or raptor. i think it would be between nightjar, goshawk, avocet or lesser spotted woodpecker..i think !
what i can answer honestly is, lamb, cider or guiness, anything by rod stewart or stevie wonder !

| | | Re: What's Your Favourite Bird? With out doubt The Peregrine Falcon, a bird that has fascinated since I was a very small boy. Their grace power and speed they generate in flight. I have been lucky and had many years sharing their world both captive and wild. Then followed by the much maligned sparrow hawk the most courageous and bravest little hawk. There is many marvels for me in UK from our species I enjoy, and they represent many memories and spectacles to many to list.
