Help please! Red bird

Yes, perhaps it is. I think I've just got it in my head that it was a Lady and it's hard when it sticks in your head to think of anything but, isn't it. Shame photo was so poor, might go back to take a better one. Lots of pheasants get shot in the area and I often think if they've got any sense, they'll realise they'll be safe in the RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw. I saw an albino pheasant there before, so perhaps it was along those lines. It's just that that tail seems so much longer.......ah, good old wishful thinking!

I did reply to your other post!
Part of strumpshaw is only leased by the RSPB so when you go through the woods you will see pheasant feeding pens where the land owner breeds and releases pheasants for the local shoot. I was there last wednesday and saw strange pheasants including the really dark almost black one by the bird feeders.
