| | | How do I get my birds back? Hi, I am at a loss I have always had plenty of birds in my garden and leave out a variety of seeds for them. However since the middle of August I seem to be left with a pair of doves and that is it! Has anyone any ideas why they have stopped coming and how I can get them back? All suggestions gratefully received I miss them |

Lot's of birds still in fields at the moment feeding on natural foods - i even saw 15 Mallard yesterday in a field adjacent to my local reservoir feeding. They'll be back soon. |

| | | Re: How do I get my birds back? Possibly on account the exceptionaly mild autumn we have had? I'm semi-rural and saw hardly any birds from August untill mid-October, but have to say they seem to have returned now. Plenty of goldies and greenies plus a few sparrows.
Plus about a dozen starlings who are demolishing the suet cake as we speak!

| | | Re: How do I get my birds back? Hi,
I am in the East Midlands and have been concerned as all the usual garden birds seem to have disappeared, apart that is from the wood pigeons, they are still around in abundance and one blackbird!!
Hopefully, the mild autumn is responsible as suggested and they will return, certainly hope so. |

| | | Re: How do I get my birds back? Thank you, this has put my mind a little more at ease and I await there return. I must admit I did get up yesterday morning to a lone blue tit and i almost cheered at the sight of him (sad I know).
Thanks again and i will be a little more patient. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
