I am envious of how lucky you are. The only Ospreys we have play rugby.
But on the other hand we have loads of Kites flying around

An Osprey was reported low over the Serpentine in central London today by one of the site's most regular (+ competent) birders. Certainly a rather late individual!

I clocked this on Birdguides. There has been a swallow in Dumfries and Galloway as well. You always get a few stragglers.

Yes I thought my sighting would be a bit late as I know Ospreys will and should have been migrating. Another sign of warm autumn no doubt. The last few days may have persuaded it to seek warmer 'climes'

There is also been a Red rumped swallow in Lothian for the last three days.
