Here are a few pictures of a sparrowhawk attack I managed to photograph a few months back, Since then I have only seen them flying overhead gliding as they do. Very graceful.

What an honour it is to see a sparrowhawk doing what it does naturally, you did well to capture him/her as i know from experience how elusive they can be in trying to spot one for long enough to take some pics.

Lovely. Mine swoops in, flurry of feathers and out again. I did get a pic of her once on a feeding post in my garden and there was evidence it wasn't the first time she'd used it but she hasn't done so since.
